This device is a 32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator designed as a quartz crystal replacement for battery-powered timekeeping applications. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply, supports industrial temperature operation from -40°C to +85°C, and delivers 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C with up to 100 ppm stability over the full industrial range at 1.5 V to 3.63 V. Typical core current is 0.90 µA at 1.8 V with no load, and start-up time is as low as 180 ms with a 450 ms maximum at higher temperatures. The 2.0 mm x 1.2 mm 2012 SMD package is pin-compatible with many 32 kHz XTAL footprints and uses a programmable NanoDrive output to reduce power consumption.
