This programmable MEMS oscillator supports factory-programmed output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two and is intended for low-power RTC and pulse-per-second timing functions. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply, draws 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V with no load, and starts within 300 ms plus one period at 25°C. Frequency tolerance is 20 ppm at 25°C and stability is rated to 100 ppm over -40°C to +85°C at 1.5 V to 3.63 V. The device provides NanoDrive programmable output swing, eliminates external load capacitors, and is available in compact chip-scale and 2.0 x 1.2 mm SMD package options.
