This programmable MEMS oscillator provides a factory-set output from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second applications. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply, with 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V and typical 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C. Frequency stability is specified up to 100 ppm over -40°C to +85°C at 1.5 V to 3.63 V, and the device supports operation from -55°C to +85°C. The oscillator uses a programmable NanoDrive output stage to reduce swing and power, and it eliminates the need for external load capacitors under normal use. The chip-scale package has a 1.5 mm x 0.8 mm footprint.
