This programmable MEMS oscillator provides a factory-set output from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second functions. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and draws 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V with no load. The device offers 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C, 35 ns RMS period jitter, and NanoDrive programmable output swing to reduce power. Its oscillator output eliminates external load capacitors, and the internal power-supply filtering reduces the need for an external bypass capacitor under normal operating conditions.
