This programmable MEMS oscillator supports factory-set output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two and is intended for low-frequency timing applications such as pulse-per-second and RTC reference clocks. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply, with typical core operating current of 0.9 µA at 25°C and 1.8 V with no load. Frequency tolerance is specified at 20 ppm at 25°C, and frequency stability options are specified up to 75 ppm, 100 ppm, or 250 ppm depending on operating conditions. The device supports commercial, industrial, and extended cold industrial temperature ranges up to -55°C to +85°C. It provides a programmable output architecture including LVCMOS and NanoDrive reduced-swing options, and the oscillator output eliminates the need for external load capacitors.
