This programmable MEMS oscillator supports factory-programmed output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and delivers ultra-low typical core current of 0.9 µA at 1.8 V with no load. Frequency tolerance is specified at 20 ppm at 25°C, and frequency stability is rated up to 100 ppm across -40°C to +85°C when operated from 1.5 V to 3.63 V. The device is offered in an ultra-small chip-scale format and eliminates the need for external load capacitors and a bypass capacitor under normal operating conditions.
