This programmable MEMS oscillator provides factory-programmed output frequencies from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two for low-frequency timing and true pulse-per-second operation. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and draws 0.9 µA typical core current at 25°C and 1.8 V with no load. The device specifies 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C, frequency stability options down to 75 ppm over temperature and voltage, and 35 ns RMS period jitter. Its oscillator output removes the need for external load capacitors, and the NanoDrive programmable swing helps reduce power consumption.
