The TAP2000 series is an ultra-high power, heat sinkable planar resistor capable of dissipating 2000 watts when properly mounted to a cooling plate. Built with Aluminum Nitride (AlN) for superior thermal conductivity, it features a non-inductive design and is encapsulated in a resin-filled epoxy casing. It is designed to provide constant pressure of approximately 300 N to the cooling plate for optimal thermal flow, making it suitable for variable speed drives, power supplies, robotics, and motor control.
