This device is a single-output synchronous buck regulator for board-mounted point-of-load power conversion with a PMBus interface. It accepts 4.5 V to 17 V input and delivers up to 40 A with a programmable 0.25 V to 5 V output in a PG-IQFN-36-3 package. The regulator uses a fast constant on-time control scheme with 400 kHz to 2 MHz switching frequency, soft-start with pre-bias capability, digitally programmable load-line control, and internal protection features. It is industrial qualified and supports operation from -40 °C to 125 °C junction temperature.
