The TLC591x Constant-Current LED Sink Drivers are 8-channel drivers designed to work alone or cascaded. Each output is independently controlled and provides a constant sink current set through a single external resistor. The device features an integrated 8-bit shift register and data latches, supporting data transfer rates up to 30 MHz. It include advanced fault detection capabilities such as open-load, short-load, and overtemperature detection, with a 256-step programmable global current gain.
