The TLC5920 is a 16x8 bit LED driver/controller designed for controlling LED displays. It features 16 constant-current sink outputs and 8 scan-side drivers. The device is designed to work in a multiplexing mode to drive an 8x16 LED matrix or two 8x8 LED matrices. It includes a high-speed shift register and data latches to enable serial data input at high frequencies.
