The TLC5927 is a 16-channel constant-current LED sink driver designed for LED displays and lighting applications. It features a 16-bit shift register and data latches to convert serial input data into parallel output format. The device provides regulated current ranging from 5 mA to 120 mA, adjustable via an external resistor Rext. It includes diagnostic features such as open-load detection, shorted-load detection, and thermal shutdown protection, and is designed to operate with up to 17V at the output ports.
