The TLC59283 is a 16-channel, constant-current sink light-emitting diode (LED) driver. Each channel can be individually controlled with a simple serial communications protocol compatible with 3.3V or 5V CMOS logic levels. A single external resistor sets the maximum current value for all 16 channels. It features a pre-charge FET to reduce ghosting effects in multiplexed LED displays.
