The TLC5957 is a 48-channel constant current sink driver featuring 16-bit 65536-step pulse width modulation (PWM) grayscale control. It includes three color groups with 512-step color brightness control (CC) and 8-step global brightness control (BC). The device incorporates a pre-charge FET for ghosting cancellation and an enhanced circuit for caterpillar effect cancelling in multiplexing LED displays.
