The TLC69611 is a 16-channel, constant current sink driver designed for LCD local dimming backlight applications. It integrates 16 constant current sinks with internal SRAM for brightness storage and connects via a high-speed two-wire serial interface in a daisy chain topology supporting up to 1024 devices. The device features adaptive headroom voltage control (AHVC) for DC/DC efficiency optimization, flexible dimming with up to 15-bit resolution, and integrated diagnostics for LED open/short and thermal shutdown detection.
