The TLC69612-Q1 is an automotive-grade 16-channel constant current sink LED driver designed for LCD local dimming backlight applications. It supports 2, 4, or 8 time-multiplexing scanning and is compatible with the TLC696x0-Q1 scan MOSFET controller. The device features a high-speed 2-wire daisy-chain interface supporting up to 1024 devices, localized dimming for over 32,000 zones, and adaptive headroom voltage control for optimized system efficiency. It includes integrated SRAM for brightness storage and diagnostic functions such as LED open/short detection and thermal shutdown.
