TLC69661 is a 16-channel, constant current sink driver designed for LCD local dimming backlight applications. It integrates 16 constant current sinks with SRAM for brightness storage and connects via a high-speed two-wire serial daisy chain interface supporting up to 1024 devices. To optimize system efficiency, the device features adaptive headroom voltage control (AHVC) to directly control DC/DC converters. It includes display quality enhancements such as variable refresh rate (VRR) support, black insertion, and ultra-low brightness update latency.
