This high-precision bipolar Hall-effect latch provides a digital open-collector output for magnetic position sensing. It operates from 2.7 V to 24 V supplies, tolerates reverse battery conditions to -18 V, and supports output currents up to 20 mA across a -40°C to 150°C junction temperature range. Active error compensation and on-chip chopper techniques stabilize the magnetic switching thresholds against temperature drift and mechanical stress. Typical magnetic characteristics are a 14 mT operate point, a -14 mT release point, and 28 mT hysteresis. The device is supplied in an SC59 / SOT-23 compatible surface-mount package and is offered in tape-and-reel packaging.
