This integrated Hall-effect latch is designed for highly accurate index counting and position detection in automotive and industrial applications. It operates from a 3.0 V to 32 V supply, supports operation from an unregulated power supply, and provides reverse-polarity protection to -18 V with 42 V overvoltage capability without an external resistor. The device offers active error compensation, low jitter of 0.35 µs typical, and high ESD performance. It is supplied in a leaded PG-SSO-3-2 package and is specified for an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 170 °C.
