This programmable linear Hall sensor is designed for highly accurate angle, position, and current measurement applications. It uses a 20-bit digital signal processing chain with 16-bit overall resolution and digital temperature compensation to maintain low drift over temperature and lifetime. The device operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply, with an extended supply range of 4.1 V to 16 V, and supports magnetic field measurement from -200 mT to +200 mT within three selectable ranges. It is specified for automotive operating conditions from -40 °C to 125 °C and integrates reverse-polarity, overvoltage, and output short-circuit protection together with on-board diagnostics and an SPC interface based on SENT.
