This programmable linear Hall sensor provides a PWM open-drain output and uses 20-bit digital signal processing with 12-bit overall resolution. It operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply in the normal range, with an extended range of 4.1 V to 16 V, and supports magnetic field operation from -200 mT to +200 mT across three programmable ranges. The device integrates digital temperature compensation, EEPROM-stored programmable parameters, reverse-polarity and overvoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, and on-board diagnostics. It is specified for automotive operation from -40 °C to 125 °C junction temperature and is intended for accurate position and current sensing applications.
