This dual-die magnetic angle sensor uses GMR technology and measures a full 360° rotation with an SPI interface. It is designed for high-speed automotive position sensing and supports a revolution counter as well as application-specific configuration through programmable E²PROM. The device is specified for a magnetic field range of 25 mT to 80 mT, a supply voltage range of -0.3 V to 26 V, and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. Infineon states less than 1° angle error over lifetime and ISO 26262 compliance up to ASIL D for the dual-chip version.
