High-speed photocoupler combines an infrared emitting diode with a photodiode-transistor detector in an 8-lead DIP package. The device provides 5000 Vrms minimum isolation voltage, TTL-compatible output operation, and typical propagation delays of 0.2 µs high-to-low and 0.3 µs low-to-high at 5 V. A Faraday shield on the detector improves common-mode transient immunity to at least ±5000 V/µs. The D4 option supports VDE approval, and the device is rated for operation from -55 °C to 100 °C.
