A precision multi-sensor coreless Hall-effect current sensor built for high-voltage, high-current multiphase systems such as EV traction inverters and solar inverters. AC or DC current flowing through an external busbar creates a magnetic field that the integrated on-chip Hall sensors measure, while a proprietary algorithm reduces displacement errors and active frequency compensation corrects eddy-current-induced amplitude errors. The device provides a fully differential output with programmable gain, 250 kHz signal bandwidth, 2.6 µs response time, 0.7 µs propagation delay, and 500 ns overcurrent detection response while operating from a 3 V to 5.5 V supply with 25 mA maximum supply current. It is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications with temperature grade 0 from -40°C to 150°C, is Functional Safety-Capable, and achieves measurement errors below 0.5% at full-scale currents exceeding 1000 A. The 14-pin TSSOP package measures 5 mm × 6.4 mm.
