The TPIC2810 is a monolithic, medium-voltage, low-current, 8-bit shift register designed to drive low-side switched resistive loads such as LEDs. It features eight power DMOS transistor outputs with 100-mA continuous sink-current capability and a 40-V output clamp voltage. The device includes an I2C serial interface for data transfer, a thermal sensor for over-current protection by shutting off outputs if die temperature exceeds limits, and an internal power-up clear function.
