The TPIC6B259 is a monolithic, high-voltage, medium-current power 8-bit addressable latch designed for use in systems that require relatively high load power. The device contains eight N-channel DMOS transistor outputs with independent chopping current-limiting circuits to prevent damage in the case of a short circuit. It is capable of operating in four distinct modes: addressable latch, memory, 8-line demultiplexer, and clear mode.
