The TPiS 1T 1086 L5.5 is an intelligent, multi-function thermopile infrared sensor from Excelitas Technologies' CaliPile™ series. It is designed to provide motion detection, presence monitoring, and non-contact temperature measurement within a single, robust TO-39 package. The sensor features a highly sensitive thermopile chip connected to internal low-power signal processing circuitry (50 µW) and an integrated focusing lens that provides a narrow 5-degree field-of-view. It includes an I2C digital interface for configuration and data retrieval, with factory calibration data stored in an internal EEPROM. The device is calibrated for remote temperature measurement applications up to 350°C.
