The TPS54200 is a 1.5-A synchronous buck mono-color or IR LED driver with a 28-V maximum input voltage. It integrates 150-mΩ and 70-mΩ MOSFETs and operates at a fixed 600-kHz switching frequency. The device implements analog dimming by changing the internal reference voltage proportional to the duty cycle of the PWM signal input and supports PWM dimming with a 100-mV sense voltage. It includes protection for LED open/short, sense-resistor open/short, and thermal shutdown.
