The TPS54201 is a 1.5-A synchronous buck mono-color or IR LED driver with an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 28 V. It features integrated 150-mΩ and 70-mΩ MOSFETs, a fixed 600-kHz switching frequency, and peak current mode control with internal compensation. It supports analog dimming via PWM input by changing the internal reference voltage (200-mV or 100-mV sense voltage) proportional to the duty cycle. Safety features include LED-open/short protection, sense-resistor-open/short protection, and thermal shutdown with auto-retry mode.
