The TPS61161 is a high-frequency boost converter with an integrated 40-V switch FET designed to drive up to 10 LEDs in series. It operates at a 600-kHz fixed switching frequency and features a 200-mV feedback voltage to reduce power loss in the external sense resistor. Brighness control is achieved through either the EasyScale one-wire digital interface or a PWM signal applied to the CTRL pin. The device includes integrated open LED protection, soft start, and thermal shutdown.
