The TPS61161-Q1 is a boost converter with a 40-V rated integrated switch FET designed to drive up to 10 LEDs in series. It operates at a 600-kHz fixed switching frequency and features a 200-mV feedback voltage regulated to set the LED current. Brightness control is achieved via a 1-wire EasyScale digital interface or a PWM signal applied to the CTRL pin. The device includes integrated open LED protection, soft start, and is automotive qualified.
