The TPS61162A is a high-frequency, synchronous boost converter with two current sinks designed to drive White LED (WLED) strings for backlighting. Each current sink can provide up to 30mA of current, with a total capability of 60mA. It employs a pulse-width modulation (PWM) interface for brightness control and includes protection features such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown.
