The TPS61181A is a highly integrated boost regulator designed for media-size LCD backlighting. It features a 1.5-A/40-V integrated MOSFET and six current sink regulators providing high-precision current regulation and matching for up to 60 WLEDs (10 in series per channel). The device supports PWM brightness dimming with a 1000:1 ratio and includes protection features such as overvoltage protection, WLED open/short protection, and true shutdown via an external PFET driver.
