The TPS61187 is a highly integrated white-light-emitting-diode (WLED) driver solution for notebook LCD backlights. It features a built-in high-efficiency boost regulator with an integrated 2-A, 40-V power MOSFET and six current sink regulators providing high precision current regulation and matching for up to 60 WLEDs. It supports automatic phase-shift and direct-PWM dimming methods, with the boost output automatically adjusting to the WLED forward voltage to optimize efficiency.
