The TPS61195 is a highly integrated WLED driver solution for large-size LCD backlighting. It features a built-in high-efficiency boost regulator with an integrated 2.5A/50V power MOSFET and eight current sink regulators. Each of the eight strings can support up to 12 LEDs for a total of 96 LEDs. The device supports multiple brightness dimming methods including PWM, SMBus, and analog dimming. It includes adaptive boost output to improve efficiency by adjusting to the WLED forward voltage, and provides protection features such as over-current, short-circuit, soft start, and thermal shutdown.
