The TPS61199 is a highly integrated boost controller designed for large-size LCD backlighting. It features a current-mode boost controller and eight current sinks to drive up to eight LED strings with multiple LEDs in series. Each string includes an independent current regulator with 3% matching accuracy. The device supports a wide input voltage range from 8V to 30V and includes protective features such as adjustable LED open/short protection, MOSFET overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown.
