The TPS61311 is an integrated high-efficiency synchronous boost topology LED driver designed to power up to three white LEDs in parallel for still-camera flash and video-camera lighting. It operates as both a regulated current source and a standard voltage boost regulator (3.8 V to 5.7 V) with a 2-MHz switching frequency. The device features a 3.4 Mbps I2C interface, zero-latency Tx-masking, hardware reset, and comprehensive safety features including LED temperature monitoring, open/short detection, and an integrated safety timer.
