The TPS92512HV is a 2.5A step-down (buck) current regulator with an integrated 200-mΩ MOSFET designed to drive high current LEDs. It supports an input voltage range from 4.5V to 60V and uses peak-current mode control for line and load regulation. The device features dedicated inputs for both analog and PWM dimming, a user-selectable switching frequency from 100-kHz to 2-MHz, and can be synchronized to an external clock. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown.
