The miniature time-delay glass tube fuse provides 10 A circuit protection at 250 Vac in a 5 mm x 20 mm body. It has axial leads with copper tinned wire and nickel-plated brass overcaps for tape-and-reel mounting. The 10 A rating has a 100 A interrupting rating at rated voltage, 0.005 ohm typical DC cold resistance, 450 A²s typical melting I²t, and 54 mV typical voltage drop. The fuse operates from -40 °C to +125 °C with the specified correction factor and uses a low breaking capacity time-delay characteristic. The S506 family is RoHS compliant, halogen free above 160 mA, and agency recognized for applicable 10 A -V ratings.
