The UCC3972 is a BiCMOS Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) controller designed for notebook computer and portable backlight power supplies. The device is designed to synchronize PWM frequency to an external resonant tank and supports both analog and low-frequency dimming modes.
