The UMFT601X-B is an evaluation and development module designed for interfacing FTDI's FT601 USB 3.0 SuperSpeed IC with external hardware such as FPGAs. It features a 32-bit FIFO bus and utilizes a Low Pin Count (LPC) FMC connector, which is compatible with most Xilinx FPGA reference design boards. The module supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed (5Gbps), High Speed (480Mbps), and Full Speed (12Mbps) transfers. It is designed to plug into FPGA development platforms to evaluate the bridging of a FIFO bus to a USB 3.0 host with data burst rates up to 400MB/s.
