High-surge metal oxide varistor provides overvoltage and transient voltage protection in a radial leaded disc form. The device is rated for 250 V RMS and 320 V DC maximum continuous operation, with a 390 V varistor voltage at 1 mA. It clamps to 650 V at 10 A and handles 35 J energy pulses and 1750 A non-repetitive 8/20 µs surge current. The halogen-free epoxy coating is UL 94 V-0 rated, and the operating temperature range is -40 °C to +125 °C.
