The Scout Pro 3 is a versatile cable tester designed to test voice (RJ11/12), data (RJ45), and video (F-connector) coaxial connections. It detects shorts, opens, reversals, miswires, crossover wiring, and split pairs. It features Power over Ethernet (PoE) detection, cable length measurement up to 2,000 feet (610 m), a tone generator for wire tracing, and a hub blink mode for port identification. The kit includes 18 RJ45 LAN locator remotes and 18 F-coax locator remotes for mapping multiple cable runs.
