Confocal fiber displacement sensor head measures targets at a 40 mm center distance with a ±6 mm measuring range. The straight-type optical head provides 0.25 µm static resolution and ±7.0 µm linearity on an Omron standard mirror surface target. The sensor uses an 80 µm center spot diameter and supports measuring cycles from 500 µs to 10 ms with compatible ZW-C1 and ZW-CE1 controllers. The IP40 aluminum die-cast head operates from 0 to 50°C and uses a flex-resistant fiber cable available in 0.3 m or 2 m lengths.
