Six-degree-of-freedom inertial measurement system combines three internal accelerometers, three internal rate gyros, two temperature sensors, battery monitoring, signal processing, IRIG encoding, and external signal-conditioning inputs. The A010 accelerometer option provides a configurable ±10 g range with a 1000 Hz upper cutoff frequency. The gyro configuration supports up to ±20000 °/s on the roll axis with ±1200 °/s on the other axes, and the S-band transmitter option provides 1.0 W output at 1.5 Mbit/s over 2.2 to 2.4 GHz. The anodized aluminum cylindrical package operates from -40°C to 85°C and survives 100 g powered shock.
