The TLC696x2-Q1 is an automotive-qualified 16-channel constant current sink LED driver designed for local dimming LCD backlights. It supports up to 2/4/8 time-multiplexing control when used with the TLC696x0-Q1 scan MOSFET controller. The device features 16 high-precision current sinks with a maximum output voltage of 50V and current of 30mA per channel. It includes integrated diagnostics for LED open/short detection and thermal shutdown, along with adaptive headroom voltage control (AHVC) to optimize system efficiency.
